So last Saturday was my birthday, and it was an all-around
lovely day! The weather was absolutely perfect, which can make or break a day.
I am so thankful it was mid-70s, sunny and breezy. My mom and I walked to the
farmer’s market downtown in the morning, and got some lovely things: tiny
summer squashes, sweet tomatoes, and local organic turnips.
I had a fun party with the fam, presents, and my signature
cake: Five-Spice Chocolate, with Choco-Mocha-Mousse Frosting.
